The Interslavic language project (Interslavic language, Меджусловјанскы језык) is a linguistic project whose main goals are comparative Slavistics, language history, and a lexical analysis of the mutual intelligibility among Slavic languages, as well as the practical understanding among languages of one language group through standardized lexical and grammatical forms.
Based on the results of such analyses, we aim to create and explore the possibilities of using these language systems in language learning, education, linguistic improvisation, and mutual understanding among people in real-life situations.
Our project has its roots in democratic countries: it was created in the summer of 2006, mainly by people from West Slavic and South Slavic countries, as well as individuals from America and the Netherlands. The project does not have political goals, and in particular, it is not associated with Pan-Slavic ideology.

Committee of the Interslavic Language
The Committee of the Interslavic Language was established as the regulatory body for the Interslavic language during the first international academic conference on the Interslavic language in 2017 (CISLa, Conference on the Interslavic Language 2017). This is confirmed by the memorandum from that conference, signed by the members of the Committee.
The first task of the Interslavic Commission was to unify the two versions of the Interslavic language (Slovianski and Novoslověnsky) into a single standard; this task was completed already in the summer of 2017.
The Commission operates with the help of voting and is divided into founding members (those who have been in the Commission since 2017) and ordinary members (those who were admitted later).
