Great media support for our musical project and intercultural dialogue

A big thank you to everyone for participating in our multinational concert and singing from different Slavic countries and moderated in Interslavic language at Przystanek Pireus in Poznań!

22.08.2025 we had the chance to listen to beautiful songs from many parts of Slavic Europe thanks to the professional concert by Roberto Lombino, student of Geoslavistics at Adam Mickiewicz University and honorary member of our Foundation.

Each song we sang had at least two language versions – thanks to this we were able to integrate people from different countries through their own cultures!

At our gathering, there were many nationalities – Belarusians, Poles, Ukrainians, and more!
It was especially pleasant for us to welcome three Sorbian guests from Lusatia: Dr. Filip Peršin, Sofia Brězanec, and teacher Daniela Heelemanowa.
Lusatia lives on!

Not all participants knew the Polish language, which is why we conducted our gathering in Interslavic, that was understandable to everyone present.

Our musical meeting showed that people of many nations can integrate and enjoy themselves together, and also that the Interslavic language, which our Foundation promotes, can be a practical tool of cultural dialogue, and not just a hobby for conlangers and language enthusiasts.

We received media support from:

  • The Honorary Consulate of Croatia
  • The Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic
  • The Department of Slavic Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University
  • The Association Ukrainska Wiosna, the largest association of Ukrainians in Poznań

We were able to financially organize this project thanks to a microgrant we received from CIM Horyzonty and the city of Poznań.

On Saturday, following yesterday’s integration, we also held a gathering of Interslavic language speakers pri jezerě Malta.

A big thank you to all of you, and stay tuned for new projects!
